Football Focus Highlight

Arsenal managed to end the famine stage victory in the Premier Leagie. Accomplishments achieved after the Gunners could topple Liverpool 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday (10/2/2010).

This victory established the position of Cesc Fabregas et al in the third Premier League standings. Arsenal collected 52 points. Despite losing, Liverpool are still able to occupy the fourth place.

First Arsenal goal threat to Liverpool in the seventh minute. Reliable defender William Gallas could gore bait ball Fabregas free kick, but the header is still rising from Jose Reina's goal.

The Gunners continued to press the Liverpool defense. Possible re-created by Fabregas and Samir Nasri. But, the action Reina brilliantly saved the Reds from the goal conceded.

Liverpool tried to get out of Arsenal pressure. Although the kick Maxi Rodriguez looks on hand the Gunners defender Thomas Vermaelen, but the referee ignored. Score without goals last until halftime.




The home team did not lose the tempo of the game. The architect Arsene Wenger tried to add attacking player with Theo Walcott and pulled out Andrei Arshavin.

Arsenal scored a desire to create as well. Abou Diaby who received great pass from Rosicky, managed to put the ball into the Reina net with strong header in 72 minutes.

Liverpool tried to get up from behind. Coach Rafael Benitez tried to add power smashed by entering Ryan Babel. Unfortunately, 1-0 score lasted until the game was over.
