AS Roma had won a landslide victory over Genoa, Sunday, January 17, 2009. An additional three points to make them up into third place overtaking Juventus.

Shown at home at the Olimpico, Roma won 3-0. Their goal by Simone Perrotta printed in minute 17 and two Luca Toni scored in minute 44 and 60.

With this result Roma have 35 points. While Juventus dropped to fourth with 33 points after losing 0-1 Chievo.
